The Woodhouse Wollombi Wedding – Isabella and Jayden
A favourite wedding spot for us to visit is always The Woodhouse Wollombi. We’re country girls at heart and love that we get to work in the beautiful Hunter Valley Region week in week out on magical wedding days. The Woodhouse Wollombi is an amazing private property nestled in the foothills of historic Wollombi, we never get over doing weddings here.
We we’re so happy when Isabella asked us to be part of her wedding day. The stunning blonde bombshell chose this gorgeous venue for her wedding day and it was just the most perfect day. We started off at 7am, arriving at her accommodation just down the road – The Woodcutters Cottage in Wollombi. There was a large long table for us to set up on and the room was big and open, filled with the most gorgeous window light. To say we we’re happy with this setup would be an understatement, we we’re thrilled. Natural light is our favourite light to work in. It allows us to see every little piece of hair and helps us tremendously when we’re matching your makeup to your skin tone. Having access to this on your wedding day is an absolute must have for hair and makeup artists.
We started off getting the bridesmaids ready which is always our favourite way to begin. All the girls had lovely high ponies paired with natural glowy makeup. Once we had about half of the girls ready it was Isabellas turn to start getting ready. Isabella chose classic Hollywood waves for her look which suited her wedding theme and Kyha Studios gown perfectly. We gave her a fresh but glam makeup look, focusing on making her skin nice and glowy and emphasising her lovely blue eyes. She looked absolutely divine, a dream bride. The team at Sarbo Studio arrived towards the end of our hair and makeup prep to start capturing everything and we made sure we had all the girls ready on time so they had enough time to capture what they needed pre ceremony.
