Every now and then all the stars align. A divine venue, a picturesque sunny day and the bride of your dreams. Eliza and Matt’s gorgeous Darkhorse Vineyard wedding was nothing less than perfection.
Now let’s just chat firstly about how utterly beautiful this venue is. We LOVE it and nothing would make us happier than to move in. Think high ceilings, white walls, huge light filled rooms. It’s a wedding hair and makeup artists dream. But seriously it is a gorgeous venue. If you’re looking for a classy modern venue that oozes sophistication but still has a clean country feel, then Darkhorse Vineyard is one Hunter Valley wedding venue you don’t want to miss.
Our day started off bright and early (as always) arriving at Darkhorse Vineyard to start getting everyone ready. Eliza had 5 beautiful bridesmaids to stand by her side as well as a few special guests who joined in the getting ready process. It flowed easily, was relaxed and fun. We created our signature glowy makeup look with a focus on the eyes for all the girls. Hair was effortless and minimum with soft waves for our beautiful bride and a mixture of half up, waves and upstyles for each bridesmaid depending on how they felt their best. We love when brides allow their bridesmaids to have a bit of free rein with their hair and makeup looks. It really does allow you nearest and dearest to feel their most comfortable and beautiful.
